Meet Your Therapist

Hi, I am Theresa.

After 27+ years in the dental field, I understand how frustrating jaw pain can be for so many people, including myself. Orthodontics and night guards didn’t help me, but myofunctional therapy did!

That’s why I am passionate about sharing this therapy with others!

Building trust and strong relationships with patients is at the heart of what I do. I take the time to understand your concerns, create a supportive space, and guide you in every step along the way. My goal is to help you improve your life by helping you to breathe better, sleep better, and feel better.

A Bit More About Me

My journey in the dental field began as a dental lab technician where I worked alongside others to design and create dental restorations, which I did for over 7 years.

I decided to expand my skills and become a registered dental hygienist. Dental hygiene became my passion for 21 years. I strived to provide my patients with the most current information, the highest quality care, and relationships built on trust, understanding, and a genuine connection.

While working as a dental hygienist, I became fascinated by how much oral posture, breathing, and muscle function impact overall health. This curiosity lead me to seek training in myofunctional therapy with the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy. I soon expanded my training to become an accredited breathing instructor by training with the Patrick Mckeown through Buteyko Clinic International.

When I am not working with patients, I enjoy spending time outdoors, paddling my kayak, camping under the stars, or watching birds with my dogs by my side. I also love to paint, although I don’t do it nearly enough.
